Unwanted hair is a common and often distressing problem that can undermine confidence and self esteem. Fortunately, with advanced modern technology, electrolysis offers a completely safe & totally effective solution for hair growth removal. The results can be both dramatic and life enhancing.
What is Electrolysis?
Electrolysis is the only proven permanent form of hair removal. It’s a progressive method of safely removing superfluous hair by weakening the hair to eliminate re-growth. Electrolysis can treat ALL skin types and ALL hair types, which no other hair removal system can offer.
Who has Electrolysis?
Common areas for Women: Facial areas (top lip, chin, neck) breasts, abdomen, underarms, Bikini line, fingers and toes.
Common areas for Men: Upper arms, around the ears, top of nose, eyebrows, top of the back, cheeks above the line of the beard, around the edges of the beard and any areas where ingrown hairs are causing a problem.
Transgender/Transsexual Females: Often require full beard removal, some chest hair removal and pre-surgery genital hair removal for sex reassignment surgery (SRS).
Treatments are tailor-made to suit you and can be carried out on virtually all parts of the body.
Electrolysis treats each hair follicle individually with a very fine, disposable, sterile probe to permanently destroy the follicle’s ability to reproduce, thereby eradicating hair growth on completion of the course of treatments.
The number of treatments required will vary from person to person as each client will have a different density of hair growth (eg: there may be between 50 hairs and 500 hairs packed into a small area of skin tissue, whilst some clients will have less hair which is spaced out). This means that each treatment course will vary, and therefore no actual figure can be put on the number of treatments required, but you will quickly see and feel a difference giving you the confidence to continue with your treatment course. You will need to have appointments over a period of time (at least a year or more) for most areas. Not all our hair is growing at the same time, and it can be quite a shock to find out that those 3 or 4 hairs on your chin are actually 30 or more hairs ‘taking turns’ to grow. On top of this hair thickness, skin sensitivity, dryness and other factors affect how quickly each hair can be eliminated.
Our appointment times start at 15 minutes, but it really depends on how large an area needs to be treated.
“If this is your first electrolysis treatment with us you will need a consultation to ensure we fully understand your needs and offer you the best solutions.”
